Producer prices of industrial products on non-domestic market in December 2021, compared to November 2021, were on average 0.9% higher, while compared to December 2020 they were 15.5% higher.
By purpose of consumption in December 2021, compared to November 2021, prices of intermediate goods were on average 1.3% higher, prices of consumer non-durables were on average 0.8% higher, prices of energy were on the average 0.7% higher and prices of capital goods were on average 0.2% higher, while prices of consumer durables were on average 0.7% lower.
By section of industrial production (PRODCOM), in December 2021, compared to November 2021, prices of the section (Е) Water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities were on average 1.8% higher, prices of the section (C) Manufacturing were on average 0.9% higher, and prices of the section (B) Mining and quarrying were on average 0.7% higher.
By division of industrial production in December 2021, compared to November 2021, prices increased in the following divisions: Manufacture of paper and paper products 8.9%, Waste collection, treatment and disposal activities, material recovery 1.8%, Manufacture of wood and of products of wood and cork, except furniture, manufacture of articles of straw and plaiting materials 1.3%, Manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products 1.0%, Manufacture of food products 0.9%, Mining of metal ores and Manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products 0.8%, Manufacture of wearing apparel 0.7%, Manufacture of leather and related products 0.6%, Manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment 0.3%, Manufacture of furniture 0.2% and Mining of coal and lignite 0.1%.
A decrease in prices in December 2021, compared to November 2021, was recorded in the following divisions: Other manufacturing 1.6%, Manufacture of electrical equipment 1.5%, Manufacture of chemicals and chemical products 1.0% and Manufacture of basic metals 0.2%.
In the remaining seven divisions of industrial production, prices in December 2021, compared to November 2021, remained on average at the same level.
